Selous Scouts - Top Secret War

The Selous Scouts were the toughest and most efficient killing machine anywhere in Africa, and its members consisted of the finest guerrilla fighting men in the Western world. Unconventional in many ways, disregardful of parade ground discipline, unorthodox in their dress, yet a force so tightly knit in the face of danger that those who knew anything about them could only marvel.
My Review
A marvellous account of the missions of the Selous Scouts during the final years of Rhodesia. Having read another book on Rhodesia recently, which focussed heavily on the political dimension, this tactical look at the work of the regiment by none other than its commander gives great insights. It's also a very easy read. This edition had the additional benefit of being bought in Namibia by its owner.
