Finest moment
Whilst digging through my dvd collection, I came across the DVD my school made about Worldskills 2003. I ripped a part of it for your viewing pleasure.
The Worldskills Championship 2003 in St. Gallen, Switzerland was an international competition, where the 750 best professionals from 37 nations competed in more than 40 trades. I represented my country in the trade 'Web design'. And got myself a medal. During the competition I was followed by a camera crew, documenting the events.
Of course, no one in the Netherlands knew what Worldskills was. Four years later the event is still pretty much unknown, despite continuously increasing efforts of the Dutch skills organisation.

De één wint iets en voelt zich daardoor minderwaardig, de ander wint nooit iets en voelt zich minderwaardig... Hoe moet iemand het doen om zich wel goed genoeg te voelen? Kortom: minderwaardigheidsgevoelens zijn eigenlijk gedachten, reele of irreele?
Zie de Worldskills als een leuke ervaring, een positieve kijk erop kan je een verfrissende kijk op de wereld geven. Vertrouw op jezelf!
